Hobbies: Boating! I have a power boat which I keep at Cedar Point Marina. I started boating with my father in 1967. My wife and I enjoy every weekend of the summer on our boat and try to take as many long weekends as possible.

Music Preference: I have 3 degrees in music (music education and clarinet performance). I have participated in different concert bands and orchestras. I enjoy all types of music....marches, overtures, etc. It is all fun.

Who or what turned you on to NHB: I was the chairman of a group of music retailers who helped raise the $60,000 for the first NHB in Rochester, NY. I always wanted to start an NHB in Cuyahoga Falls/Akron but just needed the time...and a little push!

Suggestions: I would like to see a few more members. I enjoy watching members get envolved with "THEIR" band. I enjoy members volunteering for various tasks or jobs such as concerts, social activities, ideas, etc. I really enjoy the excitement for the band that I see every week. All the members seem to be having lots of fun. After all, that is the purpose of the NHB!!
