MARCH 30TH Important Information Post from Jim

Good afternoon, all! The trees, flowers and bushes are blooming! Lynne and I find ourselves filling bird feeders, walking Eddie the Wonder Dog and firing up the barbeque! It must be Spring!

I’m sooooooooooooooooo excited about our Spring and Summer performance schedule! Your winter preparation and extra fundamental practice is showing great improvement in our reading and musical understanding. Thank you for the extra work and practice. It always pays off!!

Here is the April News!

1). We will be shifting our Monday rehearsal schedule into a Springtime Gear. Our 6:00 Winter Sectional groupings by instrumental families will be adjusted into one that is organized by parts. We will use this organization from the 7th through the 21st on Mondays. On Monday the 28th we will be focusing on the Music for our Recital on the 30th. You should have at this point 6 new parts for our summer performances. You will continue to receive a new Opener and 4 more titles for our Summer Show “Music of the 60’s. Every rehearsal… both Mondays and Thursdays are important! They are designed to help you understand and grow musically, The enjoyment comes from growing in understanding as you use the music as an expression of feelings through the telling of its story!
