I am working on getting two more (possibly three), new pieces out to everyone. Last night I finished the string parts for Screaming Eagle March so hopefully we’ll get music printed off soon. I’m currently working on an arrangement of Yankee Doodle Dandy/You’re a Grand Old Flag.  I really don’t want you to get bored while we continue to fine tune all of our other music.

Lastly, the July 12 concert has a new venue. We are playing at Eliza at Chagrin Falls. The concert will be at 3:15. Call time will be  around 2:30.  I updated the Google calendar and will work to get the calendar on our webpage updated shortly.  The address is 16695 Chillicothe Rd. Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. We will be receiving a $ donation for this performance.

See you soon.

We’re going indoors today

Well, the only rain on the radar is from 12:30-1:00…so, we are playing indoors.

We will play at First Glance Student Center
943 Kenmore Boulevard
Park in the parking lot that is beside the Korean Church/ behind the public library. The library address is 969 Kenmore Blvd.
Kenmore Blvd will be shut down from 13th to 16th st.
You will need to access the parking lot from Kenmore Alley which runs parallel to Kenmore Blvd.

Chairs will be provided…you do not have to bring your own.

Blue shirts….blue jeans (pants, shorts, capris, skirts … just blue denim) on the bottom

My phone number is 330-760-5718. TEXT me if you have questions, but don’t blow up my phone. I will check it periodically.

6/6/ INDOOR rain contingency plan

Good evening,

I just got off the phone with the entertainment organizer for the Kenmore Boulevard celebration. She has procured a large indoor place for us to play that is normally used for church services. It is right on Kenmore Boulevard, so the same area/drive time. The parking is ever so slightly less convenient, BUT IF we play indoors, we can use their chairs. (If we play outside, you have to bring your own chair.)

I will communicate with the organizer at 9:00 on Saturday morning, at which time we will decide if we will play inside or outside. I will send out an email with the final decision as soon as we hang up.  If we move to the indoor space, I will provide the address on Saturday.

Looking forward to seeing you everyone tomorrow (Thursday).

No Leslie tonight and other things to know.

Just a reminder that Leslie will not be at rehearsal tonight, so there will be no ‘Lessons with Leslie’ from 5-6.
