Sandy Bee Lynn (viola) and Kathy Jesser (trombone) misjudged the sizes they needed for the new New Horizons shirts. If anyone is interested in buying a Men’s 3X contact Sandy Bee Lynn at (330)658-4259. If someone would like a Men’s 4x contact Kathy Jesser at (330)687-1408.
And they both will probably be at practice Thursday if you just want to snag them them.
I’m getting ready for a garage sale this weekend and I live about 3 blocks from the church we have rehearsals in. The address is 144 E. Ralston Ave, Akron, Ohio. If anyone is interested, just stop by after rehearsal tonight. I’m just leaving it there all night since it is not going to rain. So if you even want to steal stuff during the night I would not be offended at all. I just need to empty this house before we move.
A matter of fact, if there’s anything a NH member wants, I’ll just give it to you. It’s one of the perks to our group. Mi crappola es su crappola.
If anyone has a grandchild interested in learning the drums, I have a youth sized drum set that I acquired a couple years ago thinking one of my grandchildren would play. My guess is that its fits like a 5-12 year old. It is not in perfect condition but as a starter you might find it acceptable. I’m not even sure how to put it all together – perhaps Jim or Jaime could help you with that. I have a dumpster in my driveway until Tuesday so I’d appreciate it if you could let me know if you’re interested before then.
This is Marilyn Katzmark and my cell phone number is (330)612-5542 and my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Rockley Family Foundation Piano Sale Pianos, Digital Pianos & Violins Available for Public Purchase Thursday, May 13 | Friday, May 14 | Saturday, May 15, 2021
The Cleveland State University School of Music has had the use of new first-class pianos and digital pianos on a no-cost basis for the 2020-2021 school year. This arrangement is provided through a partnership with the Rockley Family Foundation, a nonprofit that supports music education. These instruments, as well as ones provided to other institutions or otherwise made available, will be sold at a significant discount from retail pricing to perpetuate this valuable program and provide resources to the School of Music.
A large selection of grands, baby grands, digital player grands, vertical (upright) pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas, and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional instruments from famous makers. Most instruments are less than one year old, include a new factory warranty, are tuned, and ready to go.
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: A private appointment will provide a safer environment during this pandemic, as well as give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions. To secure a time, call: (216) 905-8261. For more information, click here!
Michael Campbell in the tuba section is going to be moving soon and he needs to find a home for a really nice Kimball spinet piano that has been living in his basement. If you are part of the general public he is charging $25, but if you are part of the NHB family, he is willing to just give it away. All he asks is that you would be responsible for getting it out of his house and moving it to yours. It has been awhile since it has been tuned, so between needing tuned and then being moved, the piano will definitely need to be tuned, and that would also be the new owner’s responsibility.
This is a super find, so don’t take too long to think about it. Just e-mail Mike and let him know you are interested. He can be reached at email@example.com.
