COLUMBIA WOODS PARK NORTON, OH LOCATION DIRECTIONS

These directions begin at the intersection of (Greenwich Rd, Norton Ave) and (Cleveland, Massillon Rd). This may confuse you because each of the two roads have two names. Welcome to Norton! The park is a short distance west on Greenwich Rd, Norton Ave. The Park entrance is the first left turn immediately past People Bank and before the Fire Station. There is a Columbia Woods Park sign at the entrance. Drive south a short distance and turn right at the BIG white BAND sign. You will be driving alone the length of a football field and will be able to see the Band Stand on the other side of the field. When you reach the end of the road you will turn to the left at a gate and drive along a one-way paved road toward the Band Stand. Please, park next to my grey Ford on the left side facing the East. We are on the grass and must try to keep our line straight. A second line of our cars will be parked directly behind us. Make sure you are all parked facing the East with drivers’ sides to the North. If at all possible, please organize rides so that more than one member is in each car. Thank you! If you get lost or are having trouble, call me, 330.858.2045 Please call me now with questions!

AS ALWAYS, I’M EXCITED!!!

WEDNESDAY – BT6 IS PERFORMING

BT6 is Bill Turner’s band. He is Joanne Turner’s (bass clarinet) hubby. Tomorrow will be the last night they are performing at La Mexicana in Tallmadge (76 West Ave) before he and Joanne head off to their winter home in Florida. They start at 7:00pm but I personally make it a habit to get there at 6-6:15 because of seating. If you have a group of 6 or more you can reserve a table.

The other reason why we decided to post something is because Rich Moore plays with them. As you know, Rich has been graciously playing the drums with New Horizons while Deb has been on vacation. Sooooo, Joanne thought it would be great gesture if we came out to support him. She even put in a plug with Bill to play a few songs featuring Rich.

I can’t wait to see you there! Let’s pack the place!
