Everyone will have an opportunity to sign a card for Joyce’s husband, Rick, today at rehearsal and at Monday’s rehearsal. Some of you have said you want to send your own card. John McDowell is a neighbor of Rick’s so you can either give it to him or you can mail it to his address: 9475 Willow Ave, PO Box 38, East Sparta, OH. 44626. I do not have Rick’s actual address. I appreciate everyone’s desire to reach out to him.

May 19th-F.E.C.- Trumpets, Trombones, Saxophones – Please come at 5:30 so we can rehearse the “THINK ” solo section 29-37. RAY DITMAR this year’s Memorial Day Vocalist will rehearse with the Combined Ensemble (up stairs)at 6:00. S.S.B. & God Bless America.

May 22nd – F.E.C.-Run complete Memorial program plus 60’s Show Book Tunes 6:00-8:00.

May 23rd – WRMC Memorial Day Commemorative Report Western Reserve Masonic Community 4931 Nettleton Rd. Medina, OH. report at 1:15 places at 1:30. Entrance on South side of building (looks like a church). Blue Shirt, Black Slacks

May 29th – MAPS 2:00 DOWNBEAT; NEW SHOW TUNE, RUN CLOSER, RUN OPENER, Please Bring Show Book to all rehearsal this Merry Month of May!!!

ALL REHEARSALS ARE COMBINED AND WILL BE UPSTAIRS

Please bring both your Summer Show Book and your Memorial Day Book to all rehearsals.

You will begin to receive more music, so every rehearsal is important. Thanks for your cooperations.

Congratulations to Cathy and all the String members. Your performance was excellent at the “Side by Side” Concert. Bravo!!!!!!

Good morning, all! What a BEAUTIFUL DAY! We will have Orientation Class at 5:00, Sectionals on Recital Music at 6:00 (individual percussion with Jim as needed) and Full Combined at 7;00. During this combined hour we will ask the 2 wind ensembles and the strings to perform their selections separately. The winds and percussion will come downstairs without instruments at 7:00. Strings will perform and then come up stairs without instrument to hear the winds.

PLEASE INVITE FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO THE RECITAL!! It’s so important to have an audience!!!!!!

See you this evening! OH, also please bring your music for the STARTER!

The concert for the Johnson Church was originally on July 20th not June 20th as stated in my last post. Also, this week the Percussion Ensemble will rehears at 2:00 at the MAPS Museum before the regular Band and String rehearsals at 2:30. Sorry for the mistake in the original Post and thank you Deb for bringing it to my attention. Looking forward to a great week of productive rehearsals.
