L. Carol Brill (clarinet) passed away in her sleep on Friday, April 3. She has one daughter. Nothing is planned yet but there will probably be a Celebration of Life at some point. Carol was a long time member (17 years)! Her daughter will let us know when plans are made.

Message from Sandy Bee Lynn
Good evening fellow New Horizons members. As you all know, we have a pretty significant concert coming up in April at the MAPS Museum in Green. I for one am really excited to play the great music of Glenn Miller. We ALL need to rally and try and be at every rehearsal so that it all comes together. The people at MAPS have been so generous in letting us use their facility over the years to practice and this is a wonderful opportunity to pay them back.
The weather should be better in the next few weeks so hopefully getting to rehearsal won’t be as difficult. I especially have a soft spot in my heart for MAPS because my father’s uniform and other memorabilia is there. The New Horizons Band played at that ceremony in 2013. Let’s give them a show they won’t forget ….. please, PLEASE try to make as many rehearsals as you can.
Thanks, Sandy Bee Lynn
(note: no Zoom today as I left the wifi at the church on Monday)
