CARING CORNER

Moderated by Marilyn Katzmark

In the last 5 years I have become very aware that we all have needs, and likewise, we all have something to offer. We all have a life outside of NHB, and maybe that person in the chair next to you has a lot more concerning them than rhythms and intonation. Playing music together we get pretty close to each other. But we could be closer. I’m bringing this up because I’m excited about introducing the Caring Corner.

As the moderator, I will be the first to see what you want to post. We are doing it this way for privacy sake. Maybe you don’t want everyone knowing you need food. Maybe a well-meaning friend wants to post your surgery and you don’t want everyone knowing it. This just allows me to check with the person involved to make sure we have permission to post it. I think our members are all amazing, giving people who really want to care about each other. I’m hoping this will allow us to support each other on a whole new level. Let me know what you think. This is a work in progress. Just know I’m looking forward to serving you the best I can.
